John McGeady completes works at knocknairshill Cemetery for Inverclyde Council.

Due to a cemetery shortage capacity, the Council were granted planning permission for over 9,500 square metres of land in the East of the existing burial ground which will provide an additional 700 lairs, some with the capacity for two to three interments.

The SUDS retention basin was created to reduce surface water flooding, improve water quality and enhance the biodiversity in the area.

The retaining wall, head wall foundations and natural stone retaining walls have been completed.

We completed the remainder of the footways and soft landscaped areas in preparation for handover.

Works are now complete.
