We are looking for an experienced Logistics Plant Co-Ordinator to join our Transport Team in Blantyre.

The role includes the movement of plant, material and equipment to and from our various construction sites throughout the UK, liaising with customers for hires and co-ordinating with our Fitters and Transport division to ensure the correct equipment is delivered in good condition to every job. You will also be required to monitor equipment returned to the depot, co-ordinate with our regional contacts and Internal Sales Co-ordinators and source new hires for equipment ready for hire.

Experience in construction plant hire is essential

The role includes:

Arranging the hire of all internal / external plant as required

Manage all on and off hire of plant including recording of all details electronically

Prepare and submit quotations

Deal with any plant queries and co-ordinate transport to sites

Record costs of all repairs, losses and damages

Ensure all documents and safety procedures are compliant

Provide back up assistance for breakdowns reported by site
