McGeady recently completed works on the Maryhill Road / North Woodside Road / Hopehill Road Junction, further developing the cycle infrastructure in the Woodside area of Glasgow.
The works included the delivery of a signalised junction to provide a safe link to the proprosed Quietway on North Woodside Road, Braid Street, Braid Square, St George’s Road and the City Centre to provide a cycle and pedestrian crossing on the desire lines.
The works also included: realignment of the kerbline on Hopehill Road at the junction on Maryhill Road and enhancement of the public realm which included tree planting, wild flower bed planting and enhancement of the access to the existing green space.
