Works Completed for Stirling Council at Polmaise Waste Transfer Station

These works were completed in December.

ā€¨Works began on Monday 4 October at Polmaise Waste Transfer Station for Stirling Council.

The works included:

The removal and disposal of timber sleepers from the existing push wall.

Excavation and removal of the existing steel stanchions and accompanying floor and foundations

Construction of new steel stanchions in new locations with associated foundations

Reinstatement of the existing floor

Installation of pre-cast concrete panels to push-wall in place of timber sleepers

Excavation and replacement of existing concrete floor slab
